Der Name ITVA setzt sich aus den Begriffen "Integrated" und "TV & Video" zusammen und zeigt deutlich, dass sich der Verband mittlerweile an die Bedürfnisse des Marktes angepasst hat. Denn die Geschichte dieses Interessenverbandes für den audio-visuellen Bereich reicht viele Jahre zurück. Die deutsche Sektion des ITVA besteht seit 1983. Mit dabei sind Unternehmen, Institutionen, Produzenten, Lieferanten, Dienstleister, Berater, Autoren, Regisseure, Kameraleute, Tontechniker, Multimediaberater oder Fachverbände. Der ITVA hat sich mit den Jahren etabliert wie eine Marke und ist mittlerweile zu einem regelrechten Gütesiegel geworden.

Bis vor kurzem stand der Name ITVA noch für "International Television Association". Mittlerweile wurde der Verband umstrukturiert, und in diesem Zusammenhang änderten die Verantwortlichen auch die Namensbedeutung, Integrated TV & Video Association steht in Zukunft für alle Aspekte der Unternehmens- kommunikation aus dem Bereich der Bewegtbild-Medien.

Welcome to ITVA – Integrated TV & Video Association e.V.

The name ITVA is composed of the items “Integrated” and “TV & Video” and demonstrates clearly that the association has adapted itself to the requirements of the market. The history of this pressure group for the audio-visual area goes back many years. The German section of the ITVA exists since 1983. Members of the ITVA are companies, institutions, producers, suppliers, service providers, consultants, authors, directors, cameramen, sound engineers, multi media consultants or professional associations. Through the years the ITVA has established itself like a brand and has become a properly cachet.

A short while ago the name ITVA stood for “International Television Association”. In the meantime the association has been reorganized and in this context the responsible persons changed the meaning of the name. In the near future “Integrated TV & Video Association” stands for all aspects of corporate commuciation within the area of the moving image media.
